Goa is geographically located about 5 hours drive from Mumbai. It is a coastal town with a population that is predominantly Hindu and Christians. Goa became independent from the Portuguese in 1962; the diet is mainly seafood, influences of coconut and tamarind. Our menu consists of specialized dishes from different regions- hence the name ‘Road to Goa’.

Prem Sapkota was working in this industry since 1988. The first place i worked was in president hotel from 1988-1990 in 1990 i moved to Hong Kong where i worked in Peak Cafe from 1990-1994 and than Peak Cafe open new out let called Cafe Deco where i was the sue chef from 1994-1999 and Cafe Deco gave me the opportunity to move and work and in Australia. From 2000 i worked in Cafe Sydney until 2008 and i was the head chef in my area. In late 2008 i moved to More Than Just Curry where i was the head chef but in late 2010 i bought the shop and i was the owner/chef.
Ram had worked in India from 1994-2001 at Motimahal resturant and than i 2001 he moved to Australia and also worked in Cafe Sydney and worked as an Asian chef until 2011. He is currently working at resunga from 2011 to present.
Wyld Ivy is owned and managed by Tricia and John Weaver. We are a family business with strong links within the St Ives community.
It is our policy to employ local staff.
